About these Terms
Effective date: August 3, 2026
Last updated: August 3, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://automatestl.com/ and the website content, forms, and free automation audit offered by AutomateSTL (“AutomateSTL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
1. Informational website
The website provides general information about AutomateSTL, AI and workflow automation, and services we may offer. Website content is provided for general informational purposes and may not reflect every requirement, limitation, cost, or risk of a particular project.
Nothing on the website creates a client, partnership, employment, fiduciary, or other professional relationship.
2. No professional advice
Website content and the free automation audit are not legal, tax, accounting, medical, cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, employment, or other regulated professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals about requirements that apply to your business, industry, data, communications, and use of automated systems.
Free audit and paid services
3. Free automation audit
The free automation audit is a preliminary review based on the information you provide. It may identify a possible automation opportunity, questions that need clarification, major risks, or a suggested next step.
The audit is not:
- Free implementation
- A complete technical specification
- A binding proposal
- A guarantee that automation is appropriate
- A guarantee of feasibility, cost, timing, savings, leads, sales, rankings, or another result
- Legal or compliance approval
AutomateSTL may decline an audit request or recommend that a process remain manual, be clarified first, or be reviewed by another professional.
4. Paid services require a separate agreement
No paid implementation begins through website use alone. Any paid project requires a separate written proposal, statement of work, service agreement, order form, or other written agreement accepted by AutomateSTL and the client.
That project agreement will control the scope, responsibilities, fees, payment terms, third-party costs, intellectual property, data handling, support, warranties, and liability for the paid services. If a project agreement conflicts with these Terms, the project agreement controls for that project.
Automation limitations and results
5. Automation and AI limitations
Automated systems and AI services can produce incorrect, incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or unexpected results. Third-party platforms may change their APIs, pricing, limits, policies, or availability. Data may be missing, outdated, duplicated, or inaccurate.
No automated system should be treated as infallible. Appropriate human review, monitoring, access controls, testing, logging, fallback procedures, and professional oversight depend on the risk of the process.
You are responsible for deciding whether an automated output is appropriate for your use and for obtaining any legal, compliance, or professional review your business requires.
6. No guaranteed results
Examples, demonstrations, internal builds, descriptions, and educational content show possible workflows and design approaches. They do not guarantee that your project will produce the same architecture or any particular business result.
AutomateSTL does not guarantee revenue, savings, response rates, appointments, leads, sales, rankings, traffic, deliverability, uptime, or return on investment unless a separate signed agreement expressly states otherwise.
Submissions and acceptable use
7. Your submissions
You represent that information you submit through the website is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to provide it.
Do not submit:
- Passwords, API keys, access tokens, or security codes
- Protected health information
- Financial account or payment-card information
- Government identification numbers
- Private customer records
- Confidential third-party material you are not authorized to share
- Malicious code or content intended to disrupt the website
Website forms and ordinary email are not approved channels for sensitive project data. If a project requires sensitive information, an appropriate method and written scope must be established first.
Submitting information does not require AutomateSTL to accept a project, preserve the submission indefinitely, or treat unsolicited material as a trade secret. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use the website to:
- Violate applicable law or another person’s rights
- Attempt unauthorized access to the website, accounts, systems, or data
- Introduce malware, harmful code, or disruptive requests
- Scrape, copy, or extract website content at a volume that interferes with operation
- Misrepresent your identity or authority
- Submit spam, fraudulent requests, or unlawful content
- Test or probe security without written authorization
We may block or restrict access that appears abusive, unlawful, unsafe, or disruptive.
Intellectual property and third parties
9. Intellectual property
The website and its original text, graphics, branding, layouts, workflow explanations, and other content are owned by AutomateSTL or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view and print reasonable portions of the website for your internal, noncommercial evaluation. You may not reproduce, sell, publish, modify, distribute, create derivative works from, or use the website or content to build a competing commercial offering without written permission.
Names, logos, product names, and trademarks belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners. References to third-party tools do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership.
10. Third-party tools and links
The website may refer or link to third-party websites, software, platforms, or services. AutomateSTL does not control and is not responsible for their content, security, availability, terms, privacy practices, pricing, or performance.
Your use of a third-party service is governed by your agreement with that provider. You are responsible for reviewing whether a provider is appropriate for your intended use.
Website availability and warranties
11. Website availability and changes
We may change, suspend, remove, or discontinue any part of the website at any time. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at a particular time.
We may correct errors and update service descriptions, examples, policies, or other content without notice.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website, content, forms, and free audit are provided “as is” and “as available.” AutomateSTL disclaims all express and implied warranties relating to the website, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, and security.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
Liability and indemnification
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutomateSTL and its owner, personnel, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, revenue, opportunities, data, goodwill, or business interruption; or claims arising from reliance on website content, use of a third-party service, or inability to use the website.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutomateSTL’s total liability arising from or relating to the website, free audit, or these Terms will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited. Liability for a paid project is governed by the applicable written project agreement.
14. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AutomateSTL and its owner, personnel, and contractors from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights, or information you submit without authority.
Governing law and contact
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating solely to the website or these Terms must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Missouri, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact [email protected] and make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally.
16. Severability and waiver
If any part of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect and the unenforceable provision will be modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the website or services change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
